Sharing lessons and improving outcomes

Overview

The last twelve months have seen unprecedented demands placed on Australian emergency services, with floods and cyclones in Australia and devastating earthquakes in New Zealand and Japan. The ability to respond and to work with a multitude of agencies and different incidents has never been more in the spotlight.

This is the third annual Bulk Tanker Emergency Response Day under the banner of sharing lessons and improving outcomes. Jointly hosted by the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA) and the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council (AFAC) the day focuses on how to better manage emergency response with a focus on bulk tanker incidents.
